As for those "girls" - weren't they called Thunderthighs? For my sins I have a single of theirs called "Central Park Arrest"...

Oh yes, Thunderthighs! Forgot all about them, the name would certainly fit the one in the red dress.
Though I think on the original version the girl speaking the "I got my invite" and "oh will do!" bit was Lynsey De Paul.
