Picture Post

I'm feeling lazy, time to get out the cardboard guitar.

We used to call blokes like this a Grebo which is mangled slang for a greasy biker type (though its meaning seems to have expanded since I were a lad). I don't know if there was a slang term for a female Grebo though, a Grebette maybe?

Being from the Midlands, I know all about grebos and still carry a torch for Thin Lizzy! You've posted tracks from them before so I suspect more than a passing interest...

In fact I've just bought a new live CD of theirs - well, I was there on the night it was recorded in Derby in 1975! It's actually better than I thought it would be. Phil Lynott was such a showman!

The Rocker is on there too, introduced by Phil as "for all the boys who dress in black, got motorcyles, over 125... cc..."

You really should read To Major Tom if you haven't already, it's a rock n roll Adrian Mole set in the seventies
