Ah, all the great literature was in the New English Library huh?
For those who are unaware, the vanguard paperback book "Diary of a Rock 'n' Roll Star" by Ian Hunter remains 1 of the finest snapshots of the 70s music caravan. Written in '72, it gives an authentic insight to life on the road wiv Mott the Hoople - long before it became the norm to 'write' and publish a diary around the music business.
Could that be Roger Taylor of Queen making a little pre-success scratch?
